We need an experienced all-rounder to be our sole QS, from tendering through to preparing the final account. The Marlborough market provides a diverse range of projects of varying size and nature, so the full array of QS skills and attributes are required. 

You need to be flexible as you interchange between the different models of procurement and project delivery that provincial NZ offers. You need to be an adept juggler of many things at various stages of their life cycle. Additional QS support, resource and guidance may be provided from our Nelson team from time to time for larger projects, but essentially this is a stand alone role. Strong business acumen and financial skills are vital to contribute to our success.

We would prefer you to have solid experience with a commercial main contractor and hold a NZ QS tertiary qualification, with a detailed and thorough understanding of the Building Code, Construction Contracts Act and NZS 3604.

A city equivalent salary and benefits package, plus contribution towards relocation costs is available for the right person.
